Biographies

Ken Harris’ first professional gig was none other than as the opening act for the Mamas and Papas at Maple Leaf Gardens in 1967 as part of Dan’s Herd. In the 70's, Ken also toured nationally as the opening act for Kenny Rogers and The First Edition and later on was the musical host of “Don Cherry's Grapevine”.

Andy McClelland, meanwhile, played the Ontario circuit with the legendary Fred McKenna of Singalong and Don Messer Jubilee fame and the Holiday Inn Circuit with the disco trio 'Trillium”. When pressed, he can still remember the words to “Stayin’ Alive”. (And man, did he ever look bad in a polyester 3-piece suit with wide lapels and an open collar.)
